I am accepting 2 PhD students for Fall 2024! My lab conducts interdisciplinary research on socio-ecological dynamics, plant ecology, and the science-policy interface. Examples of potential topics and projects include:

·  Socio-ecological dynamics of agroforestry systems.

·  Patterns, mechanisms, and consequences of plant reproductive variability.

·  Resilience tradeoffs and synergies.

The ideal candidate will be familiar with ecological and/or social science methods, fluent in Spanish and English, and willing to make trips to Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, and local field sites for research.
